G&GL85 Carbine

The L85 IW (“Individual Weapon”; formally, Rifle, 5.56 mm, L85A2), is the standard rifle for the British armed forces. On operations with ground close combat units (Infantry, Royal Marines, RAF Regiment), the rifle is often fitted with an LLM01 Laser Light Module. The weapon system has been a prominent feature of the British forces and can be especially seen during group operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
