WolverineInferno GEN2 Premium M249

The Wolverine Inferno Gen2 with Premium FCU is a complete HPA engine specifically developed for the M249 machine gun. This HPA engine replaces the standard gearbox in your M249 replica and gives you full control over its performance. With the included Premium Fire Control Unit (FCU), you can directly adjust your FPS, rate of fire, and even firing modes via two small screws. The system operates on compressed air and features a US-connection for your HPA hose.

Technical specifications

This HPA engine consists of an anodised aluminium cylinder with internal air valves and an electronic FCU module. The red finish on the cylinder is purely decorative. The complete system includes the engine itself, connection cables, air hoses, O-rings, and the FCU with programmable electronics. The engine features a standard US-type air connection compatible with all common HPA tanks and regulators. The weight of the complete set is comparable to a standard gearbox, maintaining the balance of your replica.

Compatibility and application

This engine is specifically designed for M249 machine guns and fits most M249 variants on the market. Installation requires technical knowledge of airsoft internals – you must be able to remove the original gearbox and correctly fit and connect the engine. The Premium FCU makes this engine suitable for both support gunners seeking a high rate of fire and for players aiming to build an M249 DMR with single shot functionality.
